Meet Pets From Muttville Senior Dog Rescue On Furry Fridays!

These pets are available to adopt, along with a ton of other amazing dogs at Muttville Senior Dog Rescue who deserve a great forever home!

Get to know Chappie:

Chappie flawlessly pulls off the one ear up, one ear down look. Not all dogs can achieve this level of style, ladies and gentlemen. Chappie is one of the best male models out there, and we are just grateful that he has blessed us with his presence here at Muttville.

Here’s a note from his foster:

Chappie is a sweet lump of a boy! He needs a home where he can get all the fuss he needs. If another dog gets fussy, you can count on Chappie to come over for his share. If you give him a good ear scratch he will let you know with low rumblings of joy!

In addition, I think you could record and sell his gentle snores to white noise machines companies. The noise is the sound of peaceful dreams of treats and cuddles. Chappie’s energy level is pretty low, but every once in a while a good patch of clover will cause him to…almost frolic.

He loves other dogs and I think he could be a great dog for a family. Chappie would do well with another dog who he can cuddle with at night!

Get to know Woody:

Woody is great old guy!

Woody is living with other mutts and doing well after coming into Muttville as a stray.

Woody is part of our hospice program due to his severe mobility issues, discomfort, possible disease in spleen/liver.

Here’s a note from his foster:

Shhh…don’t let Woody hear that he is a senior mutt! Although, he may not be as spry as he once was in his younger years, this boy still is a puppy at heart. He loves to play fetch with his tennis ball and likes nothing better than to sit by your side and chomp on his chew toys. He wants to be where ever the action is so be prepared to for a snuggler to be by your side, whether, just lazing about on the couch or enjoying the beautiful outdoors.

Woody gets along great with everyone (people and dogs) and enjoys hanging out with the three resident dogs at home.

He also seems to be housebroken and has excellent manners. He would make a great companion for anyone!

Get to know Yolanda:

Fuzzi knows her way around! There really is no need for her to see any better, this cute lady detects sweet people already from afar. Fuzzi is laid back, chilled and just dreams about a cozy home with friendly people all around that snuggle up with her and just let her be. So finding her favorite person is really the only item left on her long bucket list. Are you the perfect match and ready to hang with her? Come by one of our adoption event to meet her!

Get to know Arty:

Arty is our scruffy little adventurer. Arty is the perfect companion for a little run or hike, and then is down to snuggle up for some relaxation. He’s been working on his beard for some time, and yes you can pet it if you want to. Thanks Arty!

Here’s a note from his foster:

Arty is the sweetest little bearded terrier at about 7lbs and 12 years of age! He is 100% potty trained and non-aggressive to people and other animals. He has come out of his shell so much in the week we have had him! He can be a little shy of new situations and initially wants his own space, but once he bonds with you he will stick to you like glue and let you know it!

He absolutely loves going out on walks and has no issues with stairs or jumping! He is very speedy and likes to run around but will always stay close to you for comfort! He absolutely loves to cuddle, lay in your lap or lay on your chest. He also loves to stretch and nap laziliy after a good meal. Wherever you are in the house, he will want to be in the same room as you, like your little shadow. He is very inquisitive and he loves to explore his surroundings. He would do very well with a calm family who can give him the attention that he so very much craves.

Tune into Marcus & Sandy every Friday to meet another cat or dog that could be your family's next pet.
