Meet Piper:

Hi, I'm Piper! I'm super affectionate once I'm comfortable, climbing right up into your lap and giving lots of cuddles and kisses. I'd also love to go with you on walks around the neighborhood!

What are my big dreams? Hmm...other than affection, I'll say peace and serenity. I'd love to go to a quiet home where I'll be able to expand my circle of friends gradually, meeting your favorite people at my own pace. I peacefully coexist with my dog friends at the shelter who are around the same size as me - if you have a dog friend for me at home, I'd love to meet them! I did a great job raising three beautiful puppies who have found their forever homes, and now I'm ready to find a home of my own!

Meet April:

Just like the month of April when spring brings regrowth, our beloved friend is looking for her new beginning. April can be a little nervous meeting new people at first, but her best pals have been building her confidence with patience, love, and of course yummy treats. Once you have gained her trust, she shows you her true personality and is affectionate and wiggly.

Small dogs can be her pals, but small children can be a bit overwhelming for our sweet gal. An adult home, or a home with older children would be the best place for this 19lbs of love to land.

Recently April had to have her tail amputated, but she is taking it in good strides. She no longer is in pain and is looking forward to her hair growing back. In the meantime, it looks like she is wearing pants!

If you have some patience and the room in your heart to give April a second chance, please schedule an appointment to meet her today.

Meet Liv:

In Swedish " Liv" means ....Life.

In Chinese " Liv" means...Beautiful.

In the shelter, " Liv" means...Best Friend Forever.

Liv is everything one could want in a best friend. She loves car rides, so she's always down for road trips. To the beach or the Redwoods, with the windows down and pup cups in hand she will contently look out the window and be by your side.

Have kids? Even better! That's more people for Liv to love and more chances to play ball. In her previous home she lived with children ranging from the ages of 2-16, family is important to her.

After all the adventures are to be had and you need some down time, Liv also makes a great cuddle buddy on the couch. She will give you the remote control, let you watch whatever you want, and will gladly snuggle next you.

Liv needs a person to love. If you need a best pal, she's waiting for you.

Meet Kirby:

Hello, I'm Kirby! I am a very affectionate girl with a little side of spicy. I enjoy hanging around humans, and wand toys are my favorite way to play. My friends at HSSV have been using clicker training to teach me cool tricks, and training is a great way to put my smarts to good use. I prefer to live in a large space and am currently living in a catio here at the shelter. In my future home I would love to have a big catio or getting slowly adjusted to be an indoor-outdoor feline so I can get plenty of natural enrichment. I'm a classically Calico cat: we're said to be smart, spunky, and notoriously independent with a proclivity for quirky traits and behaviors. And if that isn't me in a nutshell ;) If you are looking for some excitement in your life, look no further!
