My career began in 1988, in my hometown, Orillia, Ontario, Canada at a small
station, 1570 CFOR. I began as an intern but eventually made my way on air.
Growing up, we always went skiing, every weekend - it was to us what surfing is to anyone from the California coast. I moved to British Columbia to ski and work at whatever job was available in Whistler before doing a two year broadcast program at BCIT in Burnaby. From there I did another internship at 100.3 The Q in Victoria, which eventually turned into a full time on air position.
About 6 months after moving to Southern California I began working at B95.1 Ventura as Music Director and Midday air talent. I fell in love with California about 10 minutes after first arriving here...I simply love it here, there is never a dull moment and so much to see and do. It is the coolest place on earth. I eventually became Assistant Program Director at B95.1 as well as doing afternoon drive and morning show fill-in.After 6 years in Ventura, which is another great part of California, I got the call to become Music Director at Star 1013 in San Francisco. I have had so many career highlights at Star 1013, such as filling in for Don Bleu on the Star 1013 Morning Show and meeting so many great Star artists.
