With its rich history, architectural grace and opulent details, the Julia Morgan Ballroom is San Francisco's premier wedding venue. Located in the heart of downtown San Francisco in the landmark Merchants Exchange building, the Julia Morgan Ballroom is a cherished piece of San Francisco lore, a destination that has withstood earthquake, fire, and more than 100 years of change.
The ballroom pays homage to Julia Morgan, the pioneering California architect behind Hearst Castle, who kept her office here for over 35 years. Every event held at this exclusive San Francisco institution reflects Morgan's unparalleled elegance and style, just as the breathtaking Beaux-Arts ballroom echoes the grandeur of Hearst Castle.
At our castle in the sky, we don't have 1,000 guests to focus on. We have two: the bride and the groom.

Additional aromas of vanilla, brown sugar and slight earthiness complete this wine. The mouth feel is balanced and not heavy with a long and pleasant finish.
Ceremony support (audio, music, microphones, as applicable): We use broadcast quality lavaliere microphones so all guests can comfortably hear the officiant and the couple, as well as any readings or songs. We can amplify live musicians or play the ceremony prelude, processional and recessional music. We provide a complimentary Ceremony Selector CD for couples that need assistance selecting ceremony music.
Emcee services: We present the wedding party, introduce the first dance, and coordinate the cake cutting without being cliché or tacky. We are always courteous and accommodating to your other vendors. For example, we won't start the first dance until the photographer is ready to shoot.
Music according to your preferences: Download our playlist at http://www.bigfundj.com/playlist.pdf. Organized by decade and genre, it's easy to locate the music you want to hear. Updated monthly with the most recent hits, check out the wide variety, including pop, rock, hip-hop, rap, disco, funk, club/dance, slow, vocal jazz, Latin, reggae, and more. We listen to your requests and play the music you want to hear.
Free dance floor lighting and outstanding audio systems: We provide fantastic ambiance with our awesome (yet appropriately classy) lights. For the music, we provide audiophile-quality sound on a premium, full-range system.
